Amos Rose grew up in New York City, surrounded and fascinated by the rich cultures and sub-cultures to be discovered there. Although he casually courted NYC's live music scene as a young adult, he is currently living in Brooklyn, where he makes his living as a performer, teacher, recording engineer, and producer. In New York, Amos has performed at numerous venues, including B.B. King's Blues Club, the New York Public Library, as part of the Blue Note Jazz Festival, at CBGB's, Rockwood Music Hall, Grasslands Gallery, Senhor do Bomfin Jazz Festival in Salvador da Bahia, Brazil, Jazz at Lincoln Center - Doha, and countless other venues, galleries, and private events. Amos has also performed jazz, rock and roll, cover songs, and his originals in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), Beijing (China), in Paris and Nice, France, in Doha Qatar, and in at least 14 states in the U.S.A.
